Frankfort, Ky. (Fox 56) -a longtime member of the Kentucky General Assembly said he is changing political parties.
Grayson’s Robin Webb senator in County County is now recorded republican.
Webb has served in the legislator since 1999 and has been in the Senate since 2009, all as a democratic.
But on Friday he told Fox 56 News that he took into consideration the change parties in the last two years.
“I just want people to know where I find myself. I know who they are – I’m not changing. I’m not changing my priorities. I’m not changing my defense positions. And my votes will remain the same on the subject. I think everyone knows it,” Webb said.
“We have to think about the people of Kentucky. Sometimes we enter this, you know,” I am in this team “or” that team “, and I understand it – this is our system, and I respect it. But in the end, we said what is right,” said the Senator of the Gerald Neal, a Democrat.
This marks the greatest republican supermarket in the Senate: 32 of the 38 members of the Senate are Republicans.
