“Does it give him the right to push my car through a couple of corners and almost cause a disaster?” Kirkwood said about the accident on Friday. “I don’t think so … I expect that Indycar does the right thing with that. I’m sure they will do something. Who knows what? I’ve never seen him before.”
Kirkwood had fun (think) on social media.
“I get Will’s frustration,” Kirkwood said. “Everyone stopped. I’m frustrated too. But the difference is that I’m not pushing guys, I’m not running on the back of the boys. Everyone knows the will to be animated sometimes and this is another moment.”
The Andretti driver is the only unnamed driver Alex Palou To win this year.
“We are fast, so I’m not frustrated,” said Andretti. “We are fast. We are a team that will come here and will try to win and do everything that is in our power to win, and we will not let nobody get our feathers.”
