José Mourinho is causing Galatasaray, supporting damage after the club accused him make “racist statements”.
Fenerbahce announced on Friday that Mourinho launched the action through the club’s lawyers while the angry recriminations continue from the draw of the Turkish Super Lig on Monday 0-0 between the two rival clubs.
The Fenerbahce manager is looking for 1,907,000 Turks Lira, a symbolic amount that refers to 1907 as the year in which Fenerbahce was founded, for a value of approximately £ 41,500.
Galatasaray had said that Mourinho-in post-game comments to which he said that the club bench was “jumping like the monkeys” and that the Slovenian referee Slavko Vincic did a better job than the Turkish officials could have done in battering the game-Equivaleva to racist statements. Mourinho received a ban on four games and a good equivalent to £ 35,000 for his comments, although the club said he appealed.
