The Troyes of Scottish brothers set a world record on Saturday to complete the fastest unsupported row through the full Pacific Ocean.

Jamie, Evan and Laclan McLine completed the trip in 139 days, arriving in Kerns, Australia. They spent more than 9,000 miles without a stop from Peru, becoming the first team to reach a complete transition from South America to Australia.

The trio from Edinburgh has survived storms, seas, injuries and cruel storms, including the one that lacquued, with more than £ 700,000 ($ 945,690) by £ 1 million ($ 1.350 450) for pure water projects.

Three joined Kerns Marlin Marina, playing on the guides and waving the flags of Scots, Australian and Great Britain. More than 50 family members, supporters and fans, including their mother Sheil, congratulated the brothers.

The hour before their arrival, Evan’s older brother uploaded a video that calls the pier before their approach.

“Do you have pizza and beer? I repeat, do you have pizza and beer?

The 33-year-old said that the journey is the hardest thing he has ever done, the one he never thought about without his siblings.

“We spilled tears of joy and laughed until our cheeks hurt,” he said.

Jamie’s middle brother, 31, said that it all started to look awful.

“We seriously thought that we could have food,” he said.

McLine said the experience gave them a new point of view on life. They plan to continue raising funds as they seek to finance projects that provide clean water of 40,000 people living in Madagascar through the Brothers Charitable Organization, the Maclin Foundation.

The previous record of the fastest complete, without the help, continuous Pacific series, was 160 days, installed by Russian solo wedding wedding Fjoodor Konakhov in 2014.
